Age Requirement
Chathub App is for adults 18 and over; we ask your age at sign-up. If you are under 18, you must not use this application.
Protect Your Identity
- Never share your real name, address, or phone number.
- Use a username that reveals no personal info.
- Be mindful of your video background.
- Don't share social media handles prematurely.
Secure Conversations
- Trust your instincts — end chats if uncomfortable.
- No pressure to share photos or data.
- Report any suspicious behavior immediately.
- Never send money or financial details.
- Never share passwords, OTPs, banking details, or other sensitive personal data.
- Be cautious about moving conversations to other platforms.
- Do not send intimate images. If someone pressures you, block and report.
How We Protect You
Automated Image Checks
Photos sent in chat go through an automated image check before they are delivered.
Warnings on Offensive Words
On the Android app, messages with offensive words are hidden behind a warning until you choose to view them.
Automatic Enforcement
Accounts that receive many reports from different people can be limited or suspended automatically. You can appeal.
Blocking
In the Chathub mobile apps, someone you block is removed from your lists. Messages and call attempts from someone you blocked are refused in the app. When you report a person, we hide them from you.
Screenshots in Calls and Photo View
Android blocks screenshots in calls and full-screen photo view. Chathub Web does not block screenshots.

- In a chat — You can report a person, a message or a photo from a chat.
- Choose a reason — Choose a reason that fits.
- What happens next — When you report a person, we hide them from you. We receive your report.

Disappearing messages
Where available, the disappearing messages feature lets participants in a conversation set a timer so messages are hidden and deleted from our servers after they expire. This feature follows the same safety rules as all other messages on Chathub. Reporting always works: if you report a user or a message before it disappears, the content is captured and kept for our safety team to review. If you see something that violates our guidelines, use the in-app Report button right away — don't wait for the message to disappear.
